the traditionnal cross, replaced by the trend of monumental funeral stone, are proposed as a massiv and rough natural aluminium or copper piece.

section principle

the cemetery reached it's full "capacity".
along the church project, the redesign of the cemetery solved this problem creating an additional "burial layer" ... simultaneously raising the cemetery 70cm to extend the church plaza level.
Thus, within the same surface, the capacity has been doubled replacing the existing headstones by a simple cross, such it was in the traditional cemeteries. (expression of the equality in the death). A floor pattern organizes the headstones according the burial layers, allowing to precisely dig the successive grave pits.
